Everything's Coming up Violet at Ballantrae Garlic Farm.

The little village of Cadours, France is home to the world-renowned violet garlic. Gourmets, chefs and buyers from all over France flock to the 15 th century market hall in the village square, from June through November to bid for and buy what many consider to be the most subtly flavoured garlic in the world.

Violet's flavour will enhance the simplest meal without imposing an overpowering “garlicky” taste.

Truly, one of the most beautiful garlics we have ever seen, we were fortunate enough to receive a gift of this wonderful garlic and with some tender loving care, look forward to harvesting this sublime cultivar in July 2015.
